Instructors Mark Moy and Laura LeKander founded Rhythmic Motion School of Dance in celebration of the joy of Partner Dancing, and to promote their unique mutual philosophy of personal enrichment and growth through the medium of dance. The School specializes in instruction for Partner Dancing in a variety of styles, from the traditional Ballroom dances, such as Waltz, Foxtrot and Tango, to the Latin and Rhythm dances, Rumba, Cha Cha, Mambo, Samba, Bolero, to the Swing dances such as Jitterbug, East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing and Hustle, as well as the Social dances, Salsa, Merengue, Argentine Tango and the Country Western dances, among those, Two Step and others.

The emphasis of instruction ranges from Social, a less formalized focus, to Performance, to Competitive, the most highly detailed in technique and styling, also commonly known as DanceSport.

The nature of the Dance Industry is to promote the joy of the art. Our goal is to provide quality comprehensive education in partnering, movement, balance, musicality and rhythm through group classes and private instruction. The development of personalized methods that meet the identified needs and desires of our student is fundamental to our approach to learning.
